As pesquisas conduzidas no Laboratório de Genômica resultaram na geração de pedidos de patentes nas áreas de tolerância a estresses abióticos, como seca e salinidade, bem como no controle do desenvolvimento da cana-de-açúcar. As tecnologias estão disponíveis para licenciamento.
